ZHU Wen
朱文

Born in 1967 in Quanzhou City, Fujian Province, Zhu Wen graduated from the Power Department of the Southeastern University in 1989. In 1994 he decided to quit his job and became a self-employed writer. Since then he has published several anthologies of short stories, a collection of poetry and novel, all of which proved popular among young intellectuals. He also wrote the screenplay Rainclouds Over Wushan (In Expectation), which won the Best Film Award at the Dulin Film Festival. His debut feature is Seafood, and second feature is South of the Clouds.
