Hi! nice 2 meet u. I am also quite happy that cinemasie dir. decided to open an english version of the site; it will make things easier for some to communicate. Well, for the moment ya can unfortunatly find me in constantly-pouring-rain-country-Belgium but (hoping) not 4 long. I'm very into movies but I got a real soft spot for asian ones. I'm a Jet Li little fan, like Chow Yun-Fat and Jackie Chan, adore Tony Leung, am keen on Andy Lau, Ekin Cheng, loved Chung Woo-Sung's prestation in Musa and have probably seen all John Woo's cuts. My interest in asian movie industry came from mangas and animated pictures and even tho I'm quite sad I haven't yet seen a lot of asian prods and don't have yet a great culture in the area, I can already tell you that my fav is defenitly Tokyo Raiders! I know, I know! Laim, huh?! ;) I don't care, that piece makes me roar... Yet I hope this site's gonna help me learn more about asian movies and maybe have some of you out there recommend some to widen up my horizon? ;)... Gonna go now try to find Fallen Angels ;)

nice to meet you too.
Tokyo Raiders !!! you means like comedy, i'm not sur you like Fallen angels, this is a dark movie, sometime funny but really dark. You must be like movies as City
Hunter, Shaolin Soccer or Close encounters of the spooky kind.

I found the beginning of Tokyo Raiders really fun, fast pace, nice music, cool acting. But the multiple plot twists at the end were too much for me. Maybe with french subs I will get it better, but this last third part was really a drawback for me. Still there is enough fun in Tokyo Raiders to make it a worth-a-look HK flick.

Tokyo Riders is typically the kind of film I would call a "Millenium Pop" film. That means fun and stupid comedy :)

Hey, I found this website today.....
I love shaolin soccer, battle royale, king of comedy, god of cookery, etc.
I'm happy to have found this site, I live in medford oregon usa where the influence and access is non existant.... I'm exited to have a place to hear about new movies and what they're about without having to go to san fransisco and asking whoever is working in the store..... I love to do that I just don't get the chance often enough.
