Excellent image, even surprising for such an old movie. HKLegends always delivers solid images, but this one is particularly impressive by its sharpness. The compression is not perfect on some backgrounds, but the colors are vivids, the definition excellent, and it's as clean as it can be. Impressive.

sound

The 5.1 remix is sadly not up to the image. Some sound effects come both from the front and surround speakers, just like on some Megastar DVD. This is quite annoying, the only solution being to turn off the surround speakers, or to listen in a stereo mode. Both solution are not very convincing.

subtitles

Excellent, as usually with HKL.

special features

A (too) long biography of Samo (would be better to have BOTH a written and a narrated bio), a shorter one for Joyce Godenzi, the usual trailers, and an interview from Samo Hung who talks about his career and the movie. Quite interesting.

menus

The usual animated menus. The first one is a bit cheap (with bullet impacts), but overall it's top quality.

quality/price ration

Not the best HKL DVD (average sound, less special features than usual), but still the best existing edition for this action flick.
