DVD Men Suddenly In Black

sound

A bit disappointing for the sound, as some of the sound effects have a little echo on the surround speakers. It\'s not that annoying, but it\'s noticable sometimes. Otherwise, it\'s a good mix, with a good use of atmospheres and musics.

subtitles

Nice job, but there are some noticable spelling mistakes sadly. We were used to better from Mei Ah.

special features

Very nice effort on the special features. The first DVD contains an audio commentary by Edmond Pang, and it\'s subtitled in english (YESSSSS). Very informative. The second DVD contains the usual stuff, with a making of, some NG shots and deleted scene (without subs), some pics, the trailer, cast and crew, as well as a storyboard/movie comparaison, and some very interesting introduction by Edmond Pang. The making of is quite long (more than 22 minutes), and lacks some structure.

Overall that\'s a very nice package, even if some actors\' interviews are missing.

menus

Very nice animated menus, with music. The transitions are sometimes a bit long. Otherwise it\'s very original and pleasant to browse. There is even a little game on disc 2 in order to access to a special feature. Nice packaging also, containing the two separated disc cases.

quality/price ration

A very promising effort by Mei Ah, which includes both an excellent image and interesting special features for a cheap price. Only the sound tracks and subtitles are not up to the rest. Still highly recommended.
