A very nice 16/9 image, sharp, with good colors (even if some scenes are a bit less colorful). The compression is good also, but not perfect. There is still room for improvment, but it's already an excellent way to see the movie.

sound

Good 5.1 track, with a good use of surround channels, even if some scenes are more dynamic than some others.

subtitles

Good quality.

special features

The making-of is not subtitled, so...

menus

Decent menus, cheap cover, quite disappointing.

quality/price ration

Technically, this DVD is already excellent. But it's maybe wiser to wait for the other editions (double layer, extended versions, more special features, better compression?) if you want to have the best possible edition for Hero.
